My “I Am Here, Tulsa” documentary series is ongoing and focusing specifically on the beautiful individuals of north Tulsa.  Through my portraits, I want to visually “Joy Capture” the many children and people of North Tulsa. I would like to play with time periods between 1921 to present.  Each viewer will notice that each individual portrait, has a piece of North Tulsa woven into the fabrics, the styling, and design concept. I am choosing to print on Metal surfaces in an effort to make permanent the visual need for restoration. I will use my portraits as a way to shine a positive, yet, challenging light on our community needs as a whole.
